Qobuz vs tidal 20212/13/2024 Headstation: Lenovo M75t Audio-gd DI-20, coax Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ RME ADI-2 DAC FS (AKM, 2nd Ed., first batch in Europe) Violectric V280 SPL Phonitor 2 Bluesound Node 2i Wireworld Chroma 8 coax. Deezer navigation is annoying though, Tidal is really good about letting you go back the way you came so you can move around more quickly. But I find both the Tidal and Deezer apps attractive and pleasant. I mostly don't use the apps because I have Bluesound streamers. If Qobuz ever comes here and it doesn't cost like it does elsewhere I would give it a try also. I also have Deezer Hifi, it's fine, sometimes I can find something I want to listen to on Deezer that's not on Tidal but it feels like they don't have as much music in the categories I listen to. I like Tidal Hifi Plus, I have several MQA DACs and Tidal is very cheap here. What it should come down to is, does the service have the type of music you want, and do you like the apps and interface? Spotify is not hires so on a resolving system it will not sound as good as the 3 I mentioned above. If they're bitperfect (Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, but the latter only over a streamer but not via the desktop app) they're all going to sound exactly the same.
